Caritas International commits to comply with the legislation concerning the protection of privacy with vigor in Belgium: the handling of personal information on this site is subject to the Belgian law from December 8, 1992. This law concerns the protection of privacy with regards to General Regulation on Data Protection (or “RGPD” but better known as the English name “GDPR”) 2016/679 of April 27, 2016, entered into enforcement May 24, 2018.

This privacy contract applies to all pages hosted on www.artisan-gourmet.be. This policy concerns:

The Management and Storing of Information

Your personal data is stored in our database solely in the case of a subscription to our newsletter, registration for an event, or when you request our magazine or annual report. This information will be kept for 5 years after the last form of communication unless you demand otherwise.

This data is stored on our host OVH whose data centers are located at Graveline, France. Artisan Gourmet will not share or communicate this information with other organizations for commercial or other purposes, or to solicitation companies/sales agencies.

This personal data is only shared with third parties if the law requires and authorizes it.

The Usage of Information by Artisan Gourmet

At any moment, you may request a copy of your personal information from Artisan Gourmet. In addition, you always have the right to contest the usage of your personal information. You may also ask us to modify your personal information.

The Security of Collected Information

Once the data has been received, Artisan Gourmet commits to best ensure the security of our systems. Importantly, we already have appropriate security measures in place to protect against the loss, abusive usage, or the alteration of received information on our site. Here is the list:

  • All persons with access to your data on behalf of Artisan Gourmet are bound by professional secrecy.
  • Each person with access has their own username and password.
